I have a love, hate relationship with the pictures and memories on my shelves!
Patrick's sweet face....I want to give him a hug again so bad!
Bill's trophy Caribou makes me want to smile and cry at the same time!
It's late.
The movie is over and the music is finished.
I'm not distracted anymore.
I look around but the memories and the missing are too much to bear!
How can this be me?
How can I endure this aching?
All I hear right now is the sound of an empty house.

I am so sorry for your loss and pain. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Debi,
I don't have the words to express my heartache for your loss and pain. Keeping you in my prayers!

I'm so sorry for the aches and pains you continue to endure. xoxo.
Hi Debi. Ever since I heard of your and your daughter in laws blogs I have had such a heavy heart for you both. You have both reminded me that life is short and to be sure to enjoy every minute. I am so sorry for the pain and hurt that you have to go through. No sunset or sunrise will ever be as sweet but I hope that the memories you have will continue to bring some laughter. Please know that there are many of us out there, people you don't even know who are praying for you and your families everyday! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and stories.
With all my thoughts and blessings
Alexis
Hi Debi-
I can be in YL this weekend if you want some company! I wish I could take the pain away! Hang in there.
xoxo
One saying that I have taken to heart and always tried to live by is this one..."You create your own reality." This means that no matter what happens to a person, they create their own reality by their actions and reactions to it.
Right now your reality is sitting alone in your house with too many memories. That is the reality that you are creating. Might not there be a more fulfilling reality to create? What were some of your career dreams when you were younger? Is there any way that you could take steps to fulfill those? Or what about volunteer work....or taking in a foreign exchange student to help fill that empty house? Debi, I KNOW that the reality that you WANT is what you HAD....but life didn't give that to you. So now you have to take the steps to create a DIFFERENT fulfilling reality. It will be painful at first, I know, but I shall be praying that in the end, it will be rewarding as well, and I will always be praying that someday peace and comfort will be yours. Bless you!
Debi, No one can ever fillthe hole in your heart but the love and support you have around you may help to build a bridge to get you through. Everything I have is yours. Love, Dad
