Reese's Pieces Has A Candy Party!

Guess what? Reese just turned 1!
What a darling little blessing you are sweet girl.
Her party was delightful thanks to a very creative Mommy!
Candy everywhere, even on the front door!
My only wish.......Daddy & Grandpa were there to share the fun. XOXO

I love the last picture. Can't wait to see and hear all about the party over @ Erynn's blog. Reese is gorgeous. Your wish and the picture made me tear.

Amazing as usual! You and Erynn sure know how to throw a party....... and Reese is BEAUTIFULLY plump as she should be.... love the tutu!

Theme fits the baby well...considering how big she is. What in the world is the mother feeding that child?

Reese is a beautiful girl! Your son and daughter-in-law made beautiful looking children! This party looks adorable...very creative and colorful, perfect for a 1st birthday!

Didn't mean my comment in a bad way. Reese's chubby cheeks are adorable!

Debi, Erynn -- I came upon your blogs through a mutual friend, so I know neither of you personally. But I do know that you're both handling this tragedy with grace, courage and dignity, though I'm sure you're broken inside. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to have all these happy moments, yet they must be bittersweet knowing your loved ones aren't there to share them.

Erynn - your children are both gorgeous. What an incredible party; in addition to having great taste, you're obviously very talented!

And listen, my baby's cheeks make Reese look anorexic in comparison! Her older siblings all had the same cheeks -- beautiful babies and beautiful kids.

My prayers are with you.

What sweet things to say Maureen, thank you!

In fact so many of you say sweet, comforting things. It means so much when you do.

What a beautiful baby and wonderful looking party. I love babies with lots of chub, there's nothing sweeter than chubby baby cheeks and thighs. I have the teeniest baby girl (well toddler now) ever (I get comments in the opposite direction 'She is SO small-was she very ill and premature?' *rollseyes* so have to get my fill of chubby babies through my friend's children. Miss Reese is just the way she is meant to be, as is my daughter.

I really do not understand why people would take the time to come and post on a proud grandmother's blog something negative about their gorgeous granddaughter. I feel sorry for them as they are so petty and mean.

(I found Erynn's blog through Matt's and have added both yours and hers to my daily blog check. So there are people thinknig of you all as far away as Scotland!)
